What is the difference is focus between the AMP and High Intensity workouts.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for writing. You are right. There are many similarities between the two workouts. The main difference is A.M.P. is a longer workout (around 35-45 min) vs. High Intensity Training (20-25 min). We also get down to the ground in almost every A.M.P. workout. Early on, we received feedback from some that couldn't get to the ground or handle a longer workout, so we try to provide two different levels. Much of the research that points to slowing the progression of the disease is based on the principles of intensive exercise with BIG, functional movements. We want to give members different options to achieve those goals based on their functional abilities.

Thank you very much for rapid response. That really helps me understand. I had been doing heavy workouts In Groups including Bosu and medicine ball as well as boxing. COVID nixed all that. I had tried several sites but were either not enough or lacked the BIG I needed. I was getting concerned with falling with the Bosu class anyway. Boxing we have gone on line. So the AMP really fits what I was looking for to replace Bosu group. I really appreciate it is very tailored to PD. High intensity will work well to fit in those days I do other stuff that wouldn’t have BIG.

Really appreciate what you are doing and will continue to participate from NC after COVID when ever that is. You including enough to get our aerobic time in really helps.
